Deleting your account

A SpokPass account is deleted from the app — on your phone or in the web app, in three steps. This page exists so you can read what happens BEFORE you press, not after.

How to do it

1. Sign in to your account: in the SpokPass app on your phone, or at spokpass.ro.
2. Open Settings.
3. At the bottom of the page, press “Delete account”, then type your email address and your master password.

Before you delete

Export your vault. The button is in Settings too, and it takes everything out in an open format. After deletion there is nothing to recover from: the passwords are encrypted with your key, and we hold no copy of it.

What gets deleted

• Every item in the vault, including those in the trash.
• Your email address and account details.
• The sign-in log and connected devices.
• Your recovery kit stops working.

What is kept, and for how long

• Issued invoices, 10 years — accounting law requires it. They contain billing details, not vault contents.
• Database backups, at most 30 days, after which they rotate on their own.

How long it takes

The account becomes inaccessible immediately. Removal from backups completes within 30 days.

If you can no longer sign in

Write to office@spokpass.ro from the account's address and we will delete it, within 30 days. We cannot show you what was in the vault — we cannot read its contents — but we can delete it.
